Margaret Eby
The Olympia Chorus is thrilled to have Margaret Eby as our Musical Director. Since her first grade teacher told her parents that she had talent, Margaret has studied music: from piano lessons as a child, to graduating as a Music Major from the University of Puget Sound. She has formally studied piano performance, vocal and choral performance and choral conducting, and has over 10 years experience directing church choirs.
A few years ago Margaret joined the Olympia Chorus as an energetic member. She was soon appointed Assistant Director, then Interim Director. She became our permanent Director in July 2022. Margaret loves being a student but more than that, she loves sharing what she knows about the art of making beautiful music. We couldn’t be happier to have her as our musical leader!
