Every Spring, the Sweet Adelines choruses and quartets of North by Northwest Region 13 come together for a regional convention. Winning competitors move on to the Sweet Adelines International competition the following Fall.
2024 Convention
Wow! The 2024 “Glitter on the River” Region 13 Sweet Adeline’s convention was SPECTACULAR! We really enjoyed harmonizing with longtime friends, as well as creating NEW friendships in Harmony. After spending MONTHS in practice, we were so honored to share this grand stage with hundreds of extremely talented singers. The weekend was full of singing, laughing, sharing and CELEBRATION!

2022 Convention
After the 2020 and 2021 conventions were cancelled due to COVID-19, the chorus was thrilled to participate in the 2022 contest virtually! Olympia Chorus placed 3rd out of 13 at the 2022 North by Northwest Region 13 Competition. As an added bonus, our director, Margaret Eby, won the Novice Director Award!
2019 Convention
Olympia Chorus placed 5th out of 16 at the 2019 North by Northwest Region 13 Competition. We also had three quartets representing us: Wink, Soundwave, and Joyride. Wink took first place in the quartet competition and became eligible to compete in the following international competition.
